Who doesn’t love a shifter? Well, there might be quite a few people, but for our purposes today, we’ll just pretend everyone loves shifters!
But the question is, who’s the furriest, I mean fairest of them all? With so many great characters, it’s hard to narrow it down to just one. My personal front runners would be Simon, from Written in Red by Anne Bishop, and Curran, from the Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrews. But my absolute favorite can’t be named. Problem is, you don’t actually find out he’s a shifter until late in the series, and I hate spoilers!
So, if we have it narrowed down to Simon and Curran, it’s a really tough call. Simon is a wolf. Wolves are just cool and you’ve got the whole pack thing going for them. Curran is a lion though. Lions are the top of the food chain in the animal kingdom. If I had to pick one, and it can’t be my mystery character, I think Curran wins this one by a shifter hair.

There are so many awesome shifters and stories out there – who could choose just one LOL I do love the boys in Anita Blake’s series by Laurell K. Hamilton and of course there is always something exciting happening with the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs with absolutely no shortage of hunky shifter folk. Carrie Vaughn’s Kitty Norville series is a real hoot and again full of colorful awesome shifter characters. Thank you for participating in this fun hop, I am having a great time 🙂

I have so many series that I follow and love the shifters from so its hard to just pick only one. Maybe Adam from the Mercy Thompson series?

I can’t pick just one…they are like Lays potato chips, Can’t have just one. I am partial to Decibel from Quinn Loftis and Mason from Belinda Boring, course any one of the Pantera from Alexandra Ivy and Laura Wright would be fine too.

I’m not familiar with the shifters discussed in this post, but I would like to be. My introduction to PNR came in the form of Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter novels. I’m on book #22 now. I’m very cozy with my pard/pride/pack/flock/kiss of Hamilton book boyfriends. I have one for every mood I’m in! Sure- she writes in a lot of sex and violence, but they are necessary to the plot, not just erotic decoration. I don’t have one favorite. The first one I loved was Adam Hauptman from Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series.

I don’t have a favorite type of shifter. Other than the Sookie Stackhouse and Twilight novels, I cannot recall reading any books with shifters until recently. I am hoping to widen my shifter reading by participating in this hop.
